Dr. Baker and Woody Bavota recently met when she heard of the Poland Syndrome Documentary being made. Dr. Baker had been completing research of her own and she was excited to combine their findings for this impactful film.

Poland Syndrome affects a child in the United States every one to two weeks. The cause is unknown but thought to be from diminished blood flow to the arm and chest area. Most born with the condition have a malformed hand and missing pectoral muscle.

The producers of the Poland Syndrome Documentary are preparing to travel the globe to meet with adults and children affected.

They are especially meeting with medical experts so he may produce a clear, concise visual documentation of Poland Syndrome that does not exist today
